Birthday Girls!

The girls have had a huge couple of weeks, turning one, having their first birthday party and being spoilt rotten by grandparents.

Marlene, Dustins Mom, and Aunt Darlene came to visit and left today, they had a great time with the girls, taking them to parks, the zoo, toy store and a lot more. The girls had a blast.

The girls birthday party was also great, so many friends and family came to help celebrate. The girls couldn't believe all the attention they got, and all the presents! Their favourite part was the food though, they ate birthday cake, and now they've sampled the heaven that is simple carbohydrates.. there is no going back. Salmon and vegies isn't looking so appetizing now.

Big Month Ahead

The girls have a huge month ahead, mostly because on the 17th they'll be turning a ripe old age of 1!

We have their party planned for the 21st, its a Hello Kitty! theme, and i'm having fun theming it. They'll of course have no concept of it, but i'm having a blast picking out all the goodies.

Marlene and her twin Darlene arrive from Las Vegas on Wednesday and will be staying with us for two weeks! The girls are going to get so much attention and they'll love every minute of it. Marlene is biting at the bit to spend some quality time with her girls too.

So we're in for a great few weeks, I just can't believe they are one already!
