Christmas

Hi Everyone!

We really enjoyed our first christmas on earth! Mummy and Daddy took us to see the christmas lights at the church that Nanna put on. We wore Santa hats and dare i say, we looked pretty divine, and everybody confirmed this by telling us so.

We really enjoy this Christmas thing, we got to see so many people over the last week, have lots of cuddles and open so many presents (with Mummy's help). Our only complaint is watching everybody pig out on lollies and yummy food, while we're still stuck drinking repugnant formula morsels -- I have been spitting up a lot on Mummy to give her the hint, but she just doesn't get it.

I think next year will be more fun, because we can run around, make a mess, open our own presents, eat REAL food and actually do more stuff than just eat and sleep! .. I'm not looking forward to that white-bearded man lap thing yet... I mean, seriously!!? I'm going to let Mummy know thats not cool, he can leave presents, but there is no need for lap-sitting.

SO thats it for us for now! We have an EXCITING year ahead, we can't wait to hit all our milestones and show Mummy and Daddy how clever we are!

We hope everyone has a wonderful 2007!

LOVE,

Violet and Olivia

Settling in

After a long flight, we are so happy to be settling into our new home with the girls.

We had quite the welcoming committee and my brother, SIL and whole family went to a lot of trouble to have our house ready and filled with necessities so it was a smooth transition -- we are very lucky!

We are handling things one day at a time, and slowly getting things set up, such as internet, cable an all that stuff.

Sorry if i havn't emailed you, i am just starting to get back to people.

The girls are doing GREAT, although Olivia isn't happy about being weened onto this new Australian formula, she's been rather sick. I havn't even started weening Violet yet, i thought one girl at a time.

Well apart from that we had a nice day at Mum and Dad's with Gary, Shez, Dave, Kym, Chloe and Mitchell, the first time the whole family has been together, with the girls. We ordered thai, dined au fresco, it was a really nice night.

Well thats about it for us for now, we are going to buy a christmas tree this week and start getting in the spirit of things, although its hard when its hot! America really has it right with the whole snowy christmas thing.
